COMMUNITY GROUP MISSION: To live out the ministry of reconciliation in gospel-centered community, engaging in service to the larger community, and working to fulfill the Great Commission..

It is our conviction that community is a Biblical and critical part of the sanctification and growth of each believer. Community groups, or as some may call them, small groups, are essential to the application of community in our ability to grow as image-bearers of God, and fulfill the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. As a result community groups should become a primary means of discipleship in our church. Understand that participation in the Community Groups either in leadership, or as a participant plays a huge role in determining our impact on our society. What exactly is a Community Group?  A Community Group is a group of people who live life together for the purpose of sanctification and bringing glory to God. It is primarily a group of people who have committed to work out their discipleship within community and not as individuals. As a result the groups should be characterized as would be a disciple of Jesus. The groups should find their identity in Jesus, worship Jesus together, pray together, care for one another, challenge one another toward godliness, and fulfill the Great Commandment together. Gathering together as a Community Group is not an event. It is an intentional effort to live a lifestyle of discipleship together. In other words, it is sharing our lives with one another with Gospel centered purpose.
